Range, sensor deployment density:

• Range is longer than most wireless access points since no connection is required.
•  Sensors are typically deployed alongside AP’s to minimize installation cost and disruption

Power options:

• A/C
• Power over Ethernet (to be available in next version)

Sensor communication options:

• Off-board Wi-Fi (can be connected to an AP for communication purposes)
• Ethernet
• WiMAX available as special order
